LEAGUE FOOTBALLERS OF 1950 —HALF-BACK FLANKERS

Argus 1-Jul-1950 p12 The Argus Week-end Magazine

KEN HOPPER, who first tame into senior football at Carlton, has "made good" since he transferred to Hawthorn in 1947. He played in various positions until it was found that he was best at half- back. There his fine position play, his good judgment, and his ability in the air have made him valuable. All in all he is a fine clubman and an excellent type of player.

Until last summer Ken was a useful cricketer in the Brunswick Sub district team. He is single, and lives either at home or the Eastern Hill fire station, where he is employed.
