Wally Guy is in front row, second from right. Wally played football with Carrum, Dromana, and Sorrento (won 1938 best & fairest). Dromana FC's written history includes Wally's full biography.

The harder I look, the more I can see Albert Otto PETERS aka Snow or Snowy, in the back row, far right. Height-wise he's way too short, perhaps 5'6 compared to the others beside him. A photo taken on grand final day 1940 suggests Bert was at least 5'10 or more. He played on the ball and according to match reports took a lot of marks around the ground when at Sorrento FC in 1937-40 as captain coach. I have a comprehensive collection of Bert's personal photos given to me, by his relative Mr.Kit Sleeman, writer and historian, formerly of Wonthaggi, before his death (circa 2018).
